The Houston Petting Zoo has been owned and operated by Zoo Shows Inc. since 2020. We service all of Texas for birthdays, festivals and schools. Our other Texas based companies are Austin Petting Zoo, Dallas Petting Zoo, San Antonio Petting Zoo and Wild Things Zoofari
Why our company is different from other private companies?
We have the outreach program of the Capital of Texas zoo. Our Houston Petting Zoo is different from all the other private companies because we offer Animal Shows and Petting Zoos continuously. Our Zoo carries out important research into subjects like animal behavior and how to treat illnesses.
One of the most important modern functions of our zoo is supporting international breeding programs, particularly for endangered species. A good zoo enables these species to live and breed in a secure environment.
We have breeding programs for fourteen endangered species, and therefore this is our main reason for existing. We are the only zoo in the USA breeding AUSTRALIAN DINGOES.
Nowadays most of the companies that provide safari drive-thrus and offer petting zoos and animal shows are there only in it for the money. Most of the owners don’t have certifications, accreditations, or any required basic biology degree which are a must require.
